Trying to speak with a person is impossible have called 5 different numbers and my option is not available. Then by a miracle you speak with someone who only transfers you back into the automated system you started with!

I want to talk to a person!! Bill was supposed to be set up for auto pay.

Had bill due 3-14 for $21.69 & I believe that was withdrawn. I lost track of how many 800 #s Ive called and they all go to the same annoying male voice. I understand why everyone is *** on line about your so called version of customer service. 72 & not great on online stuff.

Utility bill went from 200 to 2,000 per month

When I was with Gulf Power my utility bill was $200 a month when FPL took over the bill immediately went to $385 then $500then$600 and now a deposit of $1600 plus the $600 bill ALL WITHIN A TWO YEAR range I am forced to move out because they told me Id I want to get off the budget plan I must pay $250 to get off.. they turned the lights off two days ago I am moving out of the home today. Its just one person using the Utilitys and I have never missed a payment

They have a monopoly here. No choice but to use them.

First off its almost impossible to talk to a person. The automated system keeps you going in circles even when you hit 0 or ask for a operator it tells you its not a valid selection.I have had 2 accounts for almost 4 years.

I have arrangements on 1 of my accounts. This is only the second time ever and have paid those arrangements earlier than due. The other is current and never had so much as a arrangement set up on it or even been a day late.90% of all my payments to them have been 2 weeks early! Now they added a 302 deposit adjustment on my bill due in 2 weeks.

If I could pay the 300 I could have paid the 150 bill without the arrangements. I have had power in 7 states and this is the only one I have EVER had issues with. This is a absolutely horrible company and customer service is the worst.

They would not even accept smaller payments to make the deposit up. They would only give me a number for a government assistance office to help pay the deposit.

After you couldn’t pay on time they probably ran your credit and saw something that allowed them to ask for a deposit.

Payment Issues

First, your system for dealing with cuy issues as well as contacting someone who can address things needs some serious improvements. Everyone I talked to answered that they could not help with my problem in any way.

That is unacceptable. My issue was that I inadvertently clicked the wrong account to pay my bill online. My bank sends the money initially but when it results in a negative balance they a few days later recall the funds. Realizing this was going to occur I called in on time to pay my bill via an additional method.

However, the "system" will not allow an additional payment. Now I am being penalized for late payment even though I attempted to pay on time but you refused to accept payment.

That is a ridiculous manner in which to conduct your business. I would appreciate a response as to what you may be able to do to improve and correct the flaws in your system.

Bank Account Information

I changed my bank account information 5 weeks ago and FP&L still charged my old account this month. By most definitions, this would be considered fraud.

AND you offer no opportunity to speak to a human being on your various phone numbers. I would appreciate a call to settle this matter ASAP.

No, I am not a pissed customer and have zero complains about FPL's outstanding service. I take exception to you sending me these emails soliciting customer complaints about some misfortune when I have received nothing but the most adroit service under the worst possible conditions from FPL. Further, the service I have witnessed from the tree pruning company (Asplundh?) has also been outstanding!

Connectivity issues due to credit file I put block on

Few yrs ago had my ID stolen. I put a block on my file.

Divorced when I spoke to FPL to open acct in my name, they asked questions about my ex's kids b'day from wife1&2 ? So I contacted Equifax, sent the paperwork they requested. Then FPL sends LTR affidavit of residency I filled out notarized sent back. Today I get a LTR my application denied due to Equifax, yet they opened an acct.

Charge on my account for $40

Hi, I am reaching out due to my bill being extremely high after leaving for days almost a week unplugging all my electronics and not washing but 2 loads this month unplugging things not using that my bill will goe down it hasn't even during winter turn off Ac no change and when I look at bill 106. 00 unaccounted for I don't understand even though budget billing suppose to keep bill around same amount how it keeps increasing.

I stay in a energy saving apartment this is crazy how nobody can explain bill that shows that an extra 106.00 is just there not explaining exactly what this amount is for but the other things I see like laundry, AC, etc. I need an clear explanation because this is ridiculous and to even sign me up for budget billing is even more crazy.
