Overgrown power lines and poles
Nothing is being done. Have already lost power about 3 months ago due to tree limbs touching power pole.
Jim Bryant road power lines are completely overgrown. Also power lines running near 207A and Jim Bryant Road junction are also overgrown and haven't been cleared for some time.
Cause FPL are Criminals
The could help there customers out better. They are the worst company for customer friendly.
They could care less how you feel cause there going to keep doing what they are doing. You pay a bill to get reconnected and they can't guarantee when you will get cut back on. They say it could take up to 24 hours to get reconnected.
I have 4 little ones, one is a new born and they can't guarantee that my power will be back on today. This is so Criminal and the fact that Florida allows this to happen to faithful customers is ridiculous

Tree leaning on wire
Waste of time with automated call tree is leaning on wire over road tried communicating with tech she said someone would come out 10/6 to remove tree from wire. Nobody showed 10/7 tree still on wire worried about Milton hitting in 2 days. My wife is being released from hospital an worried about tree knocking down wires

I started new service with FPL about 2 weeks ago as my wife and I were closing on a house on 7/3. I got that setup online and honestly cannot remember if I set up a password or not.
I have not been able to log into my account from day 1. I have called 5-6 times over the past 2 weeks and at first, they indicate that a ticket was created, and someone would call me, but nobody called me. I tried re-registering, but the system told me that an account already exists. I have tried submitted a password re-set about a dozen times and never get an email back as your system says I should (and yes, I checked the spam folder).
I tried again today and talked to someone in web services who told me there is nothing they can do. You are not a mom-and-pop operation and I would think resetting a password would not require a lot of skill or effort but apparently this simple request is beyond solving, according to web support at FPL.
I cant just walk into an FPL office for help because I am back in Texas getting ready to put our house on the market. When my bill comes out, I would love to be able to pay online.
The last guy I spoke to suggest I just mail in. Brilliant solution huh?
I am really hoping that someone can help me.

There are no other options.
Prior to this, we felt we were being overcharged. The worker shared that they may make adjustments to correct the additional charges. After the meter was serviced, FPL failed to send us a bill for months. I would check the online portal monthly for updates, yet the balance remained at zero.
At this time, I assumed this was because they were overcharging before the meter was serviced. Months later, we received a large bill where we were given a limited amount of time to pay for the current monthly charge plus the 8 months they failed to charge us. Upset, I called and spoke to several people for answers. A manager shared they were short-staffed and were unable to create and submit a bill to me for almost 8 months.
It was so upsetting that I cried excessively due to their error. The manager had no compassion despite being their fault. He informed me the bill had to be paid because I used their services. Okay, I started making payments for 2 months worth of electricity monthly, basically.
After we've paid off, we are now getting inconsistent billing statements. We get emails about payments that we never made being returned. One time we made a payment for about $250, but we got an email the same day thanking us for a $350 payment. Days later, we received an email stating that $350 payment was returned by our bank.
And we were at risk for disconnection. We contacted our bank after speaking to a rep stating the $250 not $350 was returned by the bank. We filled a fraud complaint with the bank which was denied because they said FPL received this payment. We also keep getting emails about $10 payments being returned that we never made.
At this point FPL has and is continuously causing me and my fiancée so much emotional stress. Each time we get an email it causes so much stress. Calling customer service is useless.
I even tried going to their local office in west palm. HELP!

My church is paying my bill by check
They need real people not all this crap I hate technology, My social security check never showed up try to tell them my bill will be paid. But u never get a straight answer from robot. My bill will be paid within 4 days, They don't care if u on breathing machine if they shut me off I will die FPL don't give a *** about no one Greedy people one other thing I have to pay to talk to someone about your bill that what you call GREED

I was searching g for 45 minutes trying get a rep and recording says you cant get someone very hard to reach customer contact

I sent paperwork for auto-pay last month, but I got the bill again this month. I signed up online and it said I was now on auto-pay. However, it does not show that on my account.
